We are recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join our client in Southampton, this is a straight permanent position offering a salary of up to £40,000 DOE
Your main responsibility will be to identify, develop and successfully close sales opportunities, you will be maintaining and building existing customer relationships as well as coordinating sales operations and implementing techniques to achieve and surpass targets.
The duties and responsibilities for this Key Account Manager role will be:
- Create a sustainable sales strategy for the business
- Prepare quotes and estimate for new and existing customers.
- Provide accurate forecasting of financial performance of accounts
- Plan, monitor and report sales and deliver against specified sales and profit targets.
- Provide customer and market insight into the business
- Build and maintain excellent business relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers and industry representatives.
- Provide regular reports into the General Manager
- Contribute to effective Marketing Plans
- Recommend and report on new processes, customers and markets.
- Resolve customer complaints where necessary
- Adherence to PACE Quality Management System.
- Any other relevant, reasonable ad hoc duties that may be requested.
Requirements to be considered for this Key Account Manager role:
- Highly motivated self starter
- Ability to set and achieve goals, long and short term.
- Strong key account management skills demonstrated in previous experience
- Ability to confidently deliver briefings to senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships
- Previous experience within a manufacturing business will be advantageous
The salary is up to £40,000 + bonuses, this is a full time permanent position that is office based.
