Holt Engineering are actively recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our busy manufacturing client based in Portsmouth.
Our client design manufacture and distribute components to various sectors worldwide and looking for an Accounts assistant to support with the day to day requirements within the accounts department.Â
As the Assistant to the account team your duties will be:
- Dealing with import and exports and the related VAT and Duty
- Reconciling multiple currency bank and credit card accounts
- Control servicing on company assets
- Experience with Sage50 cloud accounts
- Monthly reports for Operations Director
- Completing and submitting VAT returns
- Monthly payroll journals and payment of wages
- Liaising with accountants at year end
- Posting sales and credit invoices, maintaining sales ledger, credit control, chasing customers for overdue invoices by email and phone
- Posting purchase invoices, maintaining purchase ledgers, paying suppliers in multiple currencies.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience within book keeping or accounts.Â
This role is a permanent position paying Â£15.00-Â£18.00 per hour depending on experience, our client is flexible with the working hours and require 16-20 hours per week.Â
