Are you an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator with Fanuc knowledge, aerospace experience with great attention to detail on the lookout for a new role with a rapidly expanding company? Then you’re looking in the right place.
We have a client in the Weymouth area looking for a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join their ranks on the night shift to improve on their already stellar reputation. Our client is a very successful sub-con machine shop specialising in the aerospace, defence and commercial sectors.
They are offering a very competitive salary of between £18.66 – £20ph, depending on experience, on a 46-hour week. The hours will be 6pm – 6am, overnight, Mon-Thur.
The CNC Turner Setter/Operator role & your requirements:
- Setting and operating CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls
- Comfortable working a night shift, with previous experience as a bonus
- Be able to inspect your own work to ensure it’s of the highest quality
- Manufacture components from technical drawings
- Experience within the aerospace, defence or a similar industry is desirable
- Have a positive and can-do attitude

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision Engineering company in the Wokingham area, who are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter / Operator / Programmer to join their growing team, with an immediate start.
The successful CNC Turner Setter / Operator / Programmer will have:
- Solid experience in setting and operating CNC machines to prove out first off and production on Fanuc systems.
- Writing and editing online programmes (Fanuc) for effective machining of components.
- Good understanding of geometric tolerances and methodical problem solving.
- Knowledge of high spec industry standards such as Motorsport and Aerospace.
** NB this role does not require programming skills as a requirement as training will be provided but it would be preferable

- Proven background in CNC setting and operating
- Specific experience setting and operating Mill/Turn machinery

The shift pattern for this position is:
- Sunday – Thursday 10.15pm – 6am
