Logistics Manager

Salary – £35k per year (negotiable)

Hours – 40 hours per week

Location – Henley-on-Thames

We are working with a recognised and renowned precision engineering and manufacturing business in the Henley-on-Thames area that are looking for a Logistics Manager with an immediate start.

Logistics Manager role:

  • Leading the daily operations within the logistics department to ensure effective processing of all aspects of receiving goods in and processing all outbounds shipments.
  • Ownership of department processes and procedures and continuously improve team performance through performance reporting.
  • Direct management of 6 reports in Logistics Team.
  • Review & value map existing systemic business workflow to drive operational process improvements.
  • Inventory management through ERP system.

The successful Logistics Manager will have:

  • Recent experience in working within despatch, stores, or warehouse roles with valuable goods.
  • Strong understanding of both domestic and international shipping processes is essential.
  • Strong experience of stock management using ERP systems e.g. Priority.
  • Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve.
