We have an opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative in a business that recognises hard work, takes care of its staff and offers the potential to go permenant in 12 weeks?

This role is on the day shift which is Monday to Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm.

As a Warehouse Operative you will:

  • Replenish stock
  • Pick orders
  • Wrap pallets
  • Book stock in and out on the company’s computer system
  • Keep your workspace tidy
  • Work quickly and efficiently

To be considered for this Warehouse Operative role you will:

  • Need to be physically fit as this is a very busy role
  • Need a good level of spoken and written English
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have previous experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Be able to work at a fast pace and work well under pressure
  • Applicants must have a clean UK driving license

We are partnering with a well-established and well-respected business based in Dorset that is known globally for its high-quality handmade products. They have experienced continued growth and their portfolio has expanded greatly since they were first established. Our client has a dedicated team of design and production engineers who develop new products and refine existing ones to help customers develop exactly what they need, our client is now looking for a Production Scheduler to join their team
 
As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the Production team.
 
 Key responsibilities as Production Scheduling Co-ordinator:
 

  • Assist in the coordination of production cells, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Creating Production Scheduling – making sure that it is followed, to achieve maximum efficiency for the company and achieve customer delivery dates.
  • Production-related administrative tasks
  • Maintain a continuous improvement focus.
  • Assist the department in achieving on-time and in full OTIF for all customers.
  • Participate in stock-take activities.

 
 
Experience and skill required as Production Scheduling Co-ordinator:
 

  • Have previous experience as a Production scheduler, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Be well versed in handling sensitive documents and adhere to any confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate strong administration and computer skills.
  • Have clear written and verbal communication skills.
