The General Worker will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations on our clients busy yard and stores.

The duties of the General Worker will include:

  • Maintaining a safe place of work, ensuring all activities conducted are in accordance with regulatory and company health & safety policies.
  • General Housekeeping of the factories and plants.
  • General duties to assist RSC personnel on site.
  • Arrange and document routine inspections, replenishment and cleaning activities.
  • Identifying and escalating any occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
  • Maintaining company vehicles.
  • Keeping the yard and stores to a reasonable standard.
  • General maintenance of the building, equipment and plant.

The Successful General Worker will need:

  • A driving license
  • A forklift license is desirable.
  • A collaborative mindset and be able to work as a team or as an individual.
  • The Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload.
  • Be able to communicate and liaise across all levels within the business.

PCD Machinist Role & Responsibilities

  • Hands-on – Set, operate & program PCD Erosion machines.
  • Inspection – Ensure the part meets the required specifications.
  • Preparation – Selecting appropriate electrode material and size for the job at hand and preparing the electrode surface for machining.
  • Autonomy – Be comfortable working alone and help train other staff members when needed.
  • Progression – Don’t want to be on the machine your whole career? Excellent progression paths will be available to the right candidate with a drive to push on.
  • Optimise – Fine-tune PCD machines as you go to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. This could involve setting factors like voltage, current, and pulse duration to achieve the desired cutting speed and surface finish without damaging the PCD tool or the electrode.

We are currently on the lookout for a skilled maintenance technician for a specialist company based in the Portsmouth area.   • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

The successful Wire Person will:

  • Have a valid electrical certification or license.
  • Have minimum 2 years experience as a Wire Person or similar role in the electrical field.
  • Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and wiring techniques.
  • Have excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work in physically demanding conditions including climbing, bending & lifting heavy objects.

  • Experienced screen printer, ideally printing onto 3D metalwork.
  • Knowledgeable on all aspects of print process and able to troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience of using 2 pack inks.
  • Reliable and productive/proactive member of the team.
