Maintenance Engineer
Maintenance engineer required for a global brand.
For this role you will need to be a skilled maintenance engineer with a bias toward mechanical maintenance and an NVQ Level 3 / C&G in a relevant subject or be timeserved with a proven track record of maintenance of production machinery.
You will be working for a company who sell their products around the globe and are a household name – they have a excellent reputation as an employer and have a very low staff turunover. This role has been generated due to a long term sick and internal promotion.
Requirements
- mechanical faultfinding on production manufacturing equipment (basic electrical maintenance an advantage)
- proven track record of fault finding and repair
- planning maintenance schedule for PPM etc
- drive continuous improvements
- strong ability to work cross functionally on both electrical and mechanical equipment
Day to day responsibilities
- responding to breakdowns in a timely manner – carry out scheduled repairs
- identify issues with machinery and implement continuous improvements
- Be very health and safety conscious
- maintain inventory, highlight shortages to ensure down time is as short as possible
