In recent years, the Holt Recruitment Group has embraced various charitable initiatives, reflecting our unwavering commitment to philanthropy. We firmly believe that it’s incumbent upon everyone to contribute to the betterment of society whenever possible.

Whether we’re raising funds, sponsoring events, or providing volunteers, our charitable efforts remain a constant throughout the year.
OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNERSHIPS
As a group we select a charity to support each year, in 2023 we chose to partner with Round Table Children’s Wish. Children’s charities hold a particularly special place in our hearts and as a registered charity the Round Table Children’s Wish is dedicated to bringing hope and happiness to children and young people facing life-threatening illnesses across Britain and Ireland.
For this one, we opted to take on a Tour de France-style challenge and cycle a massive 6,808km to raise money for RTCW. Below you will find the highlights from that week!
What sets Round Table Children’s Wish apart is its heartfelt commitment to crafting bespoke and meaningful wishes for each child, tailored to their unique needs and family circumstances. Over the past three decades, this remarkable charity has granted countless wishes, bringing smiles and moments of pure joy to remarkable children and young people. Together, our aim is to support Round Table Children’s Wish in extending its reach to touch even more young lives, ensuring they can experience the transformative power of a wish during their most challenging moments.

“Row Around Great Britain” in support of Margaret Green Animal Rescue
In our 2022 annual charity campaign, the Holt Recruitment Group embarked on an ambitious 2100-mile “Row Around Great Britain” to support Margaret Green Animal Rescue, based in Dorset and Devon. To achieve this feat, we decided to cover the distance using six indoor rowing machines in our Bournemouth offices. Each machine had a rotating team, with each member rowing for approximately ten minutes every hour. This endeavour required us to row continuously for nine hours a day over five days (March 7th – 11th), with each individual covering roughly 70 miles over the week. Remarkably, we managed to balance our charity work with our regular job duties, excelling on both fronts!

“A Mile an Hour” 24 Hour Marathon in support of Hope for Food
Recognising the difficulties faced by many in 2020, we decided to support “Hope for Food,” a local food bank in Bournemouth, Dorset, in April 2021. Our challenge was to run a 1.1-mile loop every hour for 24 hours, effectively completing just over a marathon within the 24-hour period. OTHER CHARITY PARTNERSHIPS
Throughout the years we’ve of course partnered with many other worthy causes. This included the Victoria Education Centre, which we’ve had the opportunity to support with much-needed specialised equipment, all the way through to our annual Toy Appeal for the Dorset Children’s Foundation.
We get immensely excited about being able to put a little something back into the world and we are always looking for the next campaign or challenge we can get stuck in.
