CNC Operator
responsibilities:

  • Operating 5 axis and 3 axis CNC machining centres.
  • Programming and interpretation of drawings.
  • Creation of CNC drawings.
  • Machine and plant maintenance.
  • Quality control and checking of manufactured products.
  • Design for Manufacture (DFM) thinking and analysis.

CNC Operator requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
  • 3D CAD experience would be desirable.
  • Understanding of construction and masonry drawings.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

Stonemason
responsibilities:

  • Shaping, polishing, mitreing and champfering a wide range of stone materials to drawings using various hand tools and machinery.
  • Reading and interpreting templates, drawings and specifications to determine requirements.
  • Laminating and expanding aluminium honeycomb for composite panel manufacture.
  • Ensuring finished goods are inspected at regular intervals and in accordance with relevant procedures, ensuring products are produced to a high standard.
  • Assist with general shop floor housekeeping and maintenance and day-to-day operations of the factory floor.
  • General health and safety awareness and compliance with all H&S policies and procedures.

Stonemason requirements:

  • Masonry background or experience of working in the stone industry ideally.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with hand tools and machinery.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to fit into a small team.

CNC Miller Programmer responsibilities:

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC milling machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn-out parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues or malfunctions that may arise during the machining process.

CNC Miller Programmer requirements:

  • Experience of setting and operating vertical mills within a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of offline programming with Hypermill Cadcam software.
  • Knowledge of machining principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with a variety of materials, cutting tools, and machining techniques.
