CAD TechnicianÂ
Summary:
We are looking for a CAD Technician to join a very well respected company within the local area. The ideal candidate will have experience in using Vectorworks and InteriorCad, as well as a strong understanding of the making side of joinery. Duties will include designing and creating joinery items, such as staircases, doors, windows, and furniture. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a strong attention to detail.
Our client is a bespoke interior design and joinery specialist in the Old Alresford area, they are passionate about their work and consider themselves artisans with an understanding of how important spaces are to us. They service various different industries including Leisure, commercial and private establishments.Â
CAD Technican Responsibilities:
- Use Vectorworks and InteriorCad to design and create joinery items
- Understand different joints and how to put them together
- Install hinges, runners, and recessed LED light tracks
- Work with other tradespeople to complete projects
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
- Meet deadlines and quality standards
CAD Technican Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in joinery or construction
- Experience using Vectorworks and InteriorCad
- Strong understanding of different joints
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and quality standards
