CNC Operator
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
Location: Totton
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a dynamic, family-based engineering company in the Southampton area, who are looking for a CNC Operator to join their growing team and support their international production capabilities.
CNC Operator responsibilities:
- Operating 5 axis and 3 axis CNC machining centres.
- Programming and interpretation of drawings.
- Creation of CNC drawings.
- Machine and plant maintenance.
- Quality control and checking of manufactured products.
- Design for Manufacture (DFM) thinking and analysis.
CNC Operator requirements:
- 3 years’ experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
- 3D CAD experience would be desirable.
- Understanding of construction and masonry drawings.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
