We are seeking a Skilled Conformal Coater to join our manufacturing team in Fareham.
The Conformal Coater will play a critical role in applying protective coatings to electronic components and assemblies to ensure their reliability and longevity in various environments.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Conformal Coating (PCB Masking/ PCB coating) and be detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to quality
The duties of the Conformal Coater will include:
- Set up and maintain coating equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
- Handle and store coating materials safely, including mixing and preparing conformal coating solutions as needed.
- Inspect coated components for defects, such as bubbles, runs, or insufficient coverage, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of coating processes, including material usage, process parameters, and quality control checks.
- Identify and resolve issues related to coating defects or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when working with chemicals and coating equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to continuously improve coating processes and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage coating material inventory, reorder supplies as needed, and maintain a well-organised workspace.
