Maintenance Technician
We are currently on the lookout for a skilled maintenance technician for a specialist company based in the Portsmouth area. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of repairing and maintaining manufacturing machines. A thorough knowledge with fault finding of electrical systems and PLC programs would be highly advantageous.
Skills needed for Maintenance Technician
- Mechanical/electrical maintenance experience
- Experience of working with automated manufacturing machinery
- Proven knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Previous experience of installation/testing and fault finding of electrical systems
- 17th edition
- Understanding of production ATE Systems
Desirable skills for Maintenance Technician
- Electrical installation qualification
- Mechanical or electrical apprenticeship
- ONC or HNC in an engineering discipline
Pay Rate – £18 – £25ph depending on experience
Hours – Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.45pm and Friday 8am to 12pm
