Sales Planning Engineer
We are currently partnering with an innovative Precision Engineering business in Yeovil that for the last 45 years has been at the forefront of developing the strongest reputations for delivering quality components. They offer high-end engineered and manufactured solutions for the aerospace industry and other sectors. They boast a highly skilled team and are now recruiting for a Sales Planning Engineer to join them who can also maintain and grow new customer value streams through response to customer RFQ’s and technical enquiries.
As a Planning Engineer you will develop and grow customer relationships, ensuring the planning and processes are effective and compliant.
Key responsibilities as Sales Planning Engineer
- Analyse and convert technical drawings, models, and instructions into a compliant processing plan for the customer.
- Estimating costs and quoting on prices and time lines
- Creating LTA’s and LTC’S
- Making sure that processing is compliant with NADCAP and AS9100 requirements.
- Create Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Analysing of sales by customer/ process and the capacity to sell into them, continually growing business relationships
Experience as Sales Planning Engineer:
- Great business acumen and commercial astute
- Surface finishing or treatment qualification desirable
- Understand processing techniques and jigging.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytically minded and technically competent
