Holt Engineering Recruitment are looking for an experienced Press Setter to join our nationwide manufacturing client in Southend.
The main duties of the Press Setter will be:
- Operate power presses and set press tools
- Comply with relevant health, safety, environmental & COSHH requirements.
- Work to relevant processes and procedures
- Complete first offs and quality paperwork
- Carry out activities in line with company procedures and process standard work
- Identify improvements
- Ensure efficient running of presses
- Participate in improvement teams and initiatives
The successful Press Setter will:
- Have experience in single action & progression tooling and setting
- Be familiar with standard QC processes for Pressed Parts
- Have past experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Be fully committed to achieving the team’s objectives and targets
- Be proactive towards improvement ideas/programs
- Be self motivate and able to work using their own initiative
- Have a flexible approach & be willing to support in all areas of the press unit.
