Welders & Fabricators Salary: £16-18.88 ph

Are you an experienced welder or fabricator looking for work? Are you wanting to join a business that is rapidly expanding, and has huge investments and contracts that will last for many years?  
To keep the role interesting, you will also be welding on a variety of materials, a huge variety of jobs, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills if you haven’t already worked on exotic alloys and the quality is second to none.

The successful Welder/Fabricator will need:

• A strong background in fabricating or TIG Welding
• Comfortable working on thin gauge metal from under 1mm up to 3.5mm
• Experience in welding on stainless steel or aluminium with experience on Inconel or titanium a bonus
• The ability to read and work to engineering drawings

In return Welders & Fabricators will:

• If you are already a fully skilled TIG Welder or Fabricator you will earn up to £18.88 per hour
• Work a 4-day week.
• Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays at time and half
• Get over 5 weeks of paid leave increasing to 6 weeks with service
• Receive health care and death-in-service benefits from your first day
• Have the ability to progress your career as they always try to recruit from within

Welding to aerospace or defence standards would be a distinct advantage but not essential.  The business exports its products worldwide and works in many sectors including F1 and aerospace.

TIG Welder Fabricator Role & Responsibilities

• Confident working with materials as thin as 0.8mm
• A strong background in aerospace, defence or similar industry
• Being able to fabricate just as well as you can weld is essential

• Well-practiced with stainless steel and aluminium
• Brazing experience would be desirable
• Flexible working hours on offer
• Hourly salary on offer of £16-20ph

The ideal candidate will be extremely confident with Tig tubular welding but as long as you are keen to learn training will be provided. The company specialises in a range of industries and are looking for someone who is happy to get involved in all aspects of the company in order to get projects finished so there will be a large amount of fabrication included and not just bench work. 

Skills needed for Welder

• Ability to follow technical engineering specifications 
• Confident with Tig welding 
• Able to fabricate a range of different parts 

Desirable Skills for Welder 

• Experience with tubular welding 
• Ability to weld using a range of processes such as Mig, Tig and Stick

Producing work to the tight tolerances of the aerospace, defence, marine & similar industries, you won’t be short of work in this clean, well-lit and spacious working environment.
 
MIG Welder Role & Responsibilities

• A proven background in MIG Welding
• Top-notch fabrication skills
• Well-practised working with sheet metal, working to thicknesses of 1mm
• Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium
• Mon – Fri on days with an early finish on a Friday
• £28 – 32.5k salary (depending on experience)
• Full-time, permanent position
