CNC Turner Setter Role & Responsibilities

• Set & operate CNC lathes
• Comfortable using Fanuc controls
• Using hand tools to inspect your own work
• Work from technical drawings
• Well-practiced keeping records of the manufacturing process, including the materials used, the tools used, and the settings used.
• There are positions available on the day shift and night shift
• Day shift salary: £32 – 34k
• Night shift salary: £50 – 65k

 
CNC Turner Setter Skills

• Posses a Level 3 qualification or similar within Engineering
• A proven background within the aerospace, defence, or similar standard
• Able to change tools, set offsets, and edit programs

CNC Miller – The company:

We are currently recruiting a CNC Miller for a well established precision engineering company in Coventry. They are looking to expand the CNC Milling team due to order books running to the end of 2025! If you are a CNC Miller looking to join a well established company offering a great package & work stability then this is the company for you!

CNC Miller – Duties:

• To set and operate CNC Milling machines in a safe and efficient manner, especially but not limited to Haas, Mazak, Mitsubishi machines
• Appreciation of machining process and best practice as a CNC Miller
• To produce parts in accordance with route cards and technical drawings to input on a CNC Milling machine
• Ensure all parts are produced to schedule requirements and quality standards.
• Work in adherence to the departmental procedures to achieve best in class service and maintain company quality procedures;

CNC Miller – Salary & Benefits:

• Salary DOE
• Overtime available at 2x rate
• Monthly rotating shifts

CNC Turner
CNC Turner Salary: £15-21 ph

Shifts: Days, Shifts or Nights

CNC Miller Role & Responsibilities

• Set & operate 3-axis CNC Mills
• The ability to edit programs would be beneficial but not a necessity
• Comfortable using a conversational control system
• Able to work from technical drawings
• Comfortable working to technical drawings
• Well-versed inspecting your own work
• £15-17 ph, depending on experience
• Day shift with flexible start/finish times

• Program & set CNC Lathes
• Inspect your work to ensure it meets customer specifications
• Comfortable working with Fanuc controls
• Experience with live tooling and/or multi-axis lathes is a bonus
• A background in working to tight tolerances
• Liaise with the quality and other departments to ensure work is to the highest standard
• Able to work to technical drawings
• A 4-day or evening working week available
• 2 x CNC Turner roles available, one on a day shift and one on a late shift

• Proven background in setting & operating as a CNC Turner on 2-axis lathes
• Experience on a manual lathe
• Able to inspect your own work using hand tools such as Verniers, Micrometers, Plug Gauges and more.
• Ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard and on time
• Interpreting engineering drawings and following process documentation
• Working effectively in a lean environment
• Security Clearance and Drug Testing is required for this role
