CNC Turner (Mill/Turn)

An opportunity has opened up for a CNC Turner (Mill/Turn) to join a leading manufacturer of precision machined components for the Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, Aerospace and Defence, Land and Sea Systems, Nuclear and Marine industries and emerging markets. The successful CNC Turner will have a proven background of ensuring the best manufacturing techniques are carried out within the Integrex Machine Shop by practical application of the most appropriate methods of programming, setting and operation of the machine tools and to stimulate an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
 
Essential skills needed for CNC Turner

• Must have right to live and work in the UK *Essential*
• 3+ years of previous Mill/Turn experience within a high precision manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and use of manual measuring equipment
• Understanding of drawing tolerances and specifications

 
Desirable Skills

• Security Clearance
• CNC Programming both online and offline
• Experience of working on large components
• Experience on Integrex E-Tower E650, Integrex i400, 200Y, 300IV
• Ability to program using Mazatrol controls

The role of Plating process Engineer will  include:

• Processing Components/Parts through the treatment lines 
• Jigging
• Understanding Aerospace and defence drawings and documentations
• Operator inspection
• Adhering to specifications and work instruction
• Tank Maintenance and chemical additions, including stock checks 

Skills and experience required for a Plating Process Engineer :

• Competent in handling aerospace and defence components 
• Surface coating experience – Anodise/Plating
• Electroless Nickel Plating experience desired

CNC Miller Role & Responsibilities

• Set & operate 3-axis CNC Mills
• The ability to edit programs would be beneficial but not a necessity
• Comfortable using a conversational control system
• Able to work from technical drawings
• Comfortable working to technical drawings
• Well-versed inspecting your own work
• £15-17.50 ph, depending on experience
• Day shift with flexible start/finish times

CNC Turner Programmer Role & Responsibilities

• Program & set CNC Lathes
• Inspect your work to ensure it meets customer specifications
• Comfortable working with Fanuc controls
• Experience with live tooling and/or multi-axis lathes is a bonus
• A background in working to tight tolerances
• Liaise with the quality and other departments to ensure work is to the highest standard
• Able to work to technical drawings
• A 4-day or evening working week available

Welders & Fabricators
Welders & Fabricators Salary: £16-18.88 ph

Are you an experienced welder or fabricator looking for work? Are you wanting to join a business that is rapidly expanding, and has huge investments and contracts that will last for many years?  
To keep the role interesting, you will also be welding on a variety of materials, a huge variety of jobs, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills if you haven’t already worked on exotic alloys and the quality is second to none.

The successful Welder/Fabricator will need:

• A strong background in fabricating or TIG Welding
• Comfortable working on thin gauge metal from under 1mm up to 3.5mm
• Experience in welding on stainless steel or aluminium with experience on Inconel or titanium a bonus
• The ability to read and work to engineering drawings

In return Welders & Fabricators will:

• If you are already a fully skilled TIG Welder or Fabricator you will earn up to £18.88 per hour
• Work a 4-day week.
• Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays at time and half

The Production Supervisor will lead teams in mechanical assembly, soldering, cabling and wiring, ensuring high industry standards are consistently met.
 
Production Supervisor responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor production staff through the daily build of company products.
• Ensure all company specific procedures are followed and perform operator audits where necessary.
• Utilise the company skills matrix ensuring all operators are trained and developed inline with this.
• Assess technical issues and respond accordingly.
• Set and monitor all production related KPI’s.
• Assist with any non-conformance reviews / investigations and implement appropriate actions.

 
Production Supervisor experience:

• Previous experience supervising within an electronics environment.

• Able to set & operate CNC Brake Presses
• Work from technical drawings
• Background in aerospace, defence, nuclear or similar is preferable but not essential
• Deburring and dressing parts
• Comfortable working with very thin gauge materials
• Due to the versatile nature of the business, there is a good chance to be trained in different areas of the business
• Any CADCAM experience is also desirable but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
