As Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of New Product Introduction -managing scope, schedule, finance, risk quality, and resources.

 

Key responsibilities as Project Manager:

  • To be a passionate and self-motivated Project Manager who is committed to producing top-quality work every time.
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve on-time delivery, on cost, and quality fundamentals.
  • Manage the full project, from cradle to grave until full series production.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, ensuring that objectives are prioritised correctly. Working closely and coherently with Engineering, Sales Operations and Quality
  • Be involved with continuous improvement.

Experience as: Project Manager:

  • Qualification in Project Management or previous relevant Project Management experience
  • Engineering degree or other manufacturing or engineering degree level qualification preferred.
  • Experience in an electrical or mechanical engineering business an advantage
  • Proven problem-solving experience – able to drive through improvements.
  • Experience working with MRP systems an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to drive through improvements.
  • Methodical working style and sense of responsibility
  • Full UK Driving licence – preferable.
  • High ability to communicate internally and externally.
  • Experience working in MRP systems is an advantage.

  • Responsibility for providing payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • To provide accurate information to the Finance Manager supporting management records
  • Process sickness and holiday pay and statutory entitlements

  • Submit monthly PAYE submissions to HMRC
  • Process year end procedures including submitting the P60
