We currently have a position available for an experienced Engineering Supervisor for one of the local area’s largest and most successful manufacturing businesses  
Our client is a worldwide supplier of precision manufactured products provided to several of the globe’s largest industries.

 

As Engineering Supervisor, you will provide experience within production and R&D, leading and supporting project teams on continuous improvement of existing processes.

 

Key responsibilities as Engineering Supervisor:

  • You will be involved in the new product design reviews, offering input for improvement in the manufacturing process and work flows.
  • Lead and nurture a multi-skilled manufacturing engineering team to produce and implement growth, increasing capacity and reducing costs.
  • Be involved with creating programs and instructions to allow manufacturers to meet customer requirements.
  • Have a focus on continuous improvement.

Experience required as  Engineering Supervisor:

  • HNC/D in Engineering Mechanical engineering or apprentice trained with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in this area.
  • 2D and 3D CAD, Ideally SolidWorks
  • Organised, high attention to detail.
  • MRP/ERP Savvy
  • It is imperative that you have experience and an understanding of CNC workshop protocols and processes

As a Production Supervisor you will enjoy working within a dynamic team and on products for industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Automotive, and Industrial. Production Supervisor responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor production staff through the daily build of company products.

  • Set and monitor all production related KPI’s.

Production Supervisor experience:

  • Previous experience supervising within an electronics environment.
  • Confident with technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Understanding of J-Standard, IPC, AS9100 standards are highly desirable.
  • PC literate and knowledge of MS Office software packages.
  • Excellent levels of communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Motivated with a proactive attitude towards work and issues.
