We have temporary shifts available between Monday & Friday for clients based around Blandford, Poole and Bournemouth.
These are day-by-day bookings, so you can let us know what you can or cannot work and we will offer you shifts based on this! 

All shifts will be day time paying between £10.42-£11ph depending on the client. 

The duties required of a Temporary Worker can include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries 
• Putting stock away in the warehouse 
• Working in the yard, tidying and organising 
• Moving materials around the site 

Essentials to be considered for this Temporary Worker role:

• Previous manufacturing, industrial or distribution experience would be ideal 
• Able to work quickly and efficiently 
• Happy to carry out manual handling duties lifting up to 25kg 
• Must be flexible and reliable 

This can become regular Temporary Work with the same clients for candidates with a strong work ethic and good attitude!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to build a career in manufacturing. As a trainee assembler, you will play a key role in supporting the production teams.

To be successful for these Trainee Assembler roles you must:

We are currently on the lookout for a Process Engineer to join our client who specialises in producing high-quality, technically challenging Stainless Steel & iron castings.

The ideal candidate is a crucial member of a team, who is able to maintain a high level of reliability, punctuality, determination and organisation. The role requires excellent communication skills and a positive attitude as you are going to assist team members to complete daily tasks for the department.

Process Engineer responsibilities

• Pursuit for development and methodology of parameters that produce sound castings
• Pioneer design modifications needed to enhance the quality, reduce lead time, tooling and manufacturing costs.
• Optimise methods of manufacturing and layout of tooling/ rigging
• Advance and support operational methodology of simulation software
• Liaise with customers, machinists, sub-contract processors of VFL castings
• Achieve agreed monthly business plan objectives

Process Engineer requirements

• Previous work experience as a process engineer
• High knowledge pf process engineering software systems
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies
• Previous experience working with CAD and AutoCAD
• Advanced technical skills

Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter responsibilities:

• Undertaking fault diagnosis and repairing in a heavy engineering foundry environment
• Ensuring that the foundry plant and ancillary equipment are always operated efficiently
• Routine maintenance, lubrication schedules and safety-related parts of machinery checks
• Preparing all work reports/checklists
• Supervising and controlling subcontractors on site, ensuring the company’s policy is implemented including review of method statements and permits to work

Mechanical Fitter requirements:

• Understanding written instructions and complying with company processes and procedures
• Previous experience in installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, equipment and components
• Repairing using techniques including MIG/ welding of ferrous metals, fabrication skills, manual machinist skills (lathe and vertical/horizontal milling and bench fitting and assembly

The purpose of a Mechanical Assembler is to assemble components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, to create mechanical parts and products. This role involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings and diagrams, as well as using measuring and testing instruments to ensure parts are assembled correctly. The Mechanical Assembler must also ensure that safety protocols are always followed and that products are assembled to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

 

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

Tube Bender Salary: £16-18.88
