  • Select and implement the introduction of new cutting tools, whilst interfacing with Manufacturing to identify the most cost-effective solution by following Lean principles

Experience as Production Engineer:

  • Qualified to HNC level or actively working towards completion of a similar Mechanical or Production Engineering qualification with demonstrable experience working in an engineering-based role
  • Possess a sound understanding of modern manufacturing methods
  • Demonstrate an ability to evaluate processes through capability studies and equipment
  • Demonstrable experience in use of Continuous Improvement Tools and techniques ie: VSM, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, 5’S, Error Proofing etc
  • Able to build relationships with and gain respect of customers both internal and external
  • Good Project Management skills
