We are working with an industry leader in Ringwood who are  looking for an experienced Operations Administrator to join their growing team.

This is a permanent position offering an immediate start and a salary of £24,000pa, the right candidate will play a crucial role within the business, ensuring coordination of schedules and smooth operations. 

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, based in the office full time and the company has free parking. 

The main responsibilities and duties for this Operations Administrator role: 

  • Daily administration for field sales team 
  • Dealing with building and contract paperwork 
  • Other administration tasks involved with the processing of the customer’s order
  • Booking in meetings for teams 
  • Working directly with customers and clients on the phone and via email 
  • Record and upload relevant paperwork work on customer files
  • Ordering of parts and stock needed.

Experience as Production Engineer – Operations team:

  • Qualified HNC or actively working towards completion of a similar mechanical or Production Engineering qualification with demonstrable experience working in an engineering-based role.
  • Possess a sound understanding of modern manufacturing methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in use of Continuous Improvement Tools and techniques: Kaizen, 5s, error proofing VSM , SMED
  • Demonstrable experience of building relationships and a calm approach
  • Able to design jigs and fixtures using CAD (ideally 3D )
